As a follow up to ContrAlto - a Xerox Alto emulator, Josh Dersch at
Living Computers, Seattle has just released a new Xerox Star emulator
that he called Darkstar. Darkstar faithfully emulates the Star
hardware and is quite complete with this initial release.
One issue that Josh anticipated was that of Viewpoint licensing ....
fortunately a set of master/permanent keys showed up out of the woodwork
thanks to a former PARC engineer once Darkstar was announced.
You can read about Darkstar at the Living Computers Engineering Blog:
https://engblg.livingcomputers.org
You can get Darkstar at GitHub:

Disk images can be found at Bitsavers
Have Fun!
