I am reading about how smalltalk is 32bits mostly(Tell me if I am wrong) but that smalltalk uses memory a lot, so everything is very fast.
I am ignorant as to what this means for the amount of ram that can be used:
Is 4g a limit?
I know on linux a 32bit linux can use 64g of ram using pae......so can 32bit smalltalk also use large amounts of ram?
I guess another way around this would be to load balance N smalltalk instances each using 4g of ram.....
How do smalltalkers handle such when whensites and busy apps need to scale?
